Woman screams

A manifesto in the form of a samba that reclaims the historical trajectory of silencing and violence against women, only to demand a collective pact for transformation. Wrapped in the warmth and communion of an authentic "samba de quintal" (backyard samba), the track invites the entire society to join a single line, transforming yesterday's suffocated cry into a joint construction of justice, equality, and peace.

Behind the Scenes: "Grita Mulher" (Cry Out, Woman) was born from a deep need to align with historical justice and to support the urgency of the feminist cause. Even while recognizing the composer's standpoint, the urgency to denounce structural gags and the ongoing violence that wounds women's dignity imposed itself as a creative and human imperative. The poetic spark came from proposing that the struggle for women's rights should not be fought in isolation, but rather as a collective call that summons men out of passivity. By singing about the blood that the world's progress has hidden and the fear that still tries to cut short women's steps, the music uses the gathering energy of samba to build a bridge. The chorus is an invitation for the once-stifled cry to become a song of liberation and general mobilization: a call to walk step by step, side by side, raising a new ground where empathy is the real law and oppression no longer imposes shame.
